Sooda

Sooda is a singer-songwriter known for her ethereal whisper-like vocals. She rose to fame through TikTok, where her unique musical style attracted over 120,000 followers.

She formed the unit “Amayadori” (雨宿り) with Mizuno Atsu, releasing several works together. The unit’s last single, “Hajimari no Oto” (はじまりの音), was released on June 22, 2025, after which the duo entered an indefinite hiatus.

In 2026, Sooda embarked on a new musical chapter by forming the virtual unit “Kuusou” (空爽) with CIEL. Their debut song, “Toumei Ryuusei Rhapsody” (透明流星ラプソディ), was released on January 14, 2026. Her first solo single, “Amatou” (甘党), also showcases her multifaceted talent as a singer-songwriter.

Group Composition and the Meaning of the Name

Amayadori (雨宿り) is a musical unit under SINSEKAI RECORD, formed in November 2022 by the two singer-songwriters Atsu Mizuno and Sooda. Their addition to SINSEKAI STUDIO was announced the same month.

What the name means: the name Amayadori carries the sense of “quietly sheltering from the rain amid the pain of daily life”, and the unit exists to bring music to its listeners — not to demand that they be strong, but to offer somewhere they can take shelter for a while.

The Girl “Ame” Within the World-view

Within Amayadori’s musical world there is a girl named “Ame” (アメ), born from the two members’ own imaginings.

• Where she sits: she is not one of the real members, but a presence created jointly by the imaginations of Atsu Mizuno and Sooda;
• Narrative function: as a gentle presence that stays close to the listener’s heart, she personifies the abstract emotion of “sheltering from the rain”;
• What the device achieves: her existence adds a fictional intermediary beyond the “two real singers”, giving listeners a figure through whom they can enter the emotional space of the works.

Position within the SINSEKAI lineage: Amayadori embodies SINSEKAI’s continuing exploration of the “Virtual / Real Hybrid” form — rather than relying on a 3D avatar, it builds a cross-dimensional emotional channel out of “real singer-songwriters’ writing plus a fictional character as intermediary”.
